Texture Replacement BSA not taking precedence over Morrowind

Hi guys,

I've packed a few of my larger texture replacers into BSAs just for ease of use, but for some reason they're not being used in place of Morrowind.BSA's vanilla textures. I've got the new BSAs properly registered, and they have a more recent timestamp, etc. Is there anything I should know about this?

I thought all retextures are pluginless and should be sticked in textures folder :unsure:

Are you sure the BSA is registered in the Morrowind.ini file?

If not you can also registered the BSA with http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Utilities.Detail&id=29 (freeware) which is included in the http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Utilities.Detail&id=32 (Java is required) tool.
If that isn't work you need to edit the Morrowind.ini by your self and add the last line after the default ones.

[Archives]Archive 0=Tribunal.bsaArchive 1=Bloodmoon.bsaArchive 2=.bsa

There may be a more recent workaround for this problem, but when Brash made Fantasy Color Morrowind she first tried to package it in .bsa format. She had so many problems getting it to work that she eventually abandoned the idea altogether. Several prominent modders at the time tried to help and none of them could make it work.

Like I say, someone may have discovered a way around this problem during the last few years. But if not, you'll probably just have to package them the way she did: as loose files.
