A mod about voices

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 2:57 pm

Hey guys, not to long ago, I downloaded a mod which gave the main character(your character) a voice. You could choose from assassin, thief, mage, warrior, and the like. Just yesterday I had to reinstall Oblivion again, due to me screwing with the construction site. Well, anyway I'm looking for a mod that gives the main character a voice. Has anyone heard of it? I've been looking all morning for it, with no results. Any help would be greatly apperciated.

Hey!

I shall hijack this thread now. It is for a noble purpose!

A long time ago there was a guy working on a voice replacing mod for Dunmer - he was doing the recording himself, going for a "Morrowind" feel instead of... well, you know.

I'm curious if anyone knows anything about that mod or that modder. I assume the project was dropped but I guess I need closure.

Cheers!

There is also http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10980 ... as much as I like Brucevayne's sound sets I never found one that really was that satisfactory and found the acting pretty bad on some. This mod uses vanilla voices when you power attack.

I found and really have grown fond of http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9829 which states:
Goal: unique voices for all races! Like many replacer mods, DV is only modified from Bethesda's files. If that isn't good enough for you, then we're on the same page. If it is, then enjoy.
Dark Elf males will have lower, slightly more gravelly voices than other Elven males.
High Elf & Wood Elf females will sound less like Dunmer females.
Orcs will have lower, more growly voices than Nords.

Fully mergable into bash too. No extra slot taken up.

Then also the http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10607 add on.

Searching Nexus for voice you can even find the infamous Tourettes guy voice (which I've used in Fallout 3 where it makes sense).
