[Poll] Multi-Player

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 5:04 pm

TES is the most awesome RPG game out there (to me) but after you read the books, and play through all the storie lines it gets pretty old, and you are basicly invincible.

So I was thinking they should add a Multi-Player feature, so that away you can play the single player game for story lines and other values, and you can play with others for an ultamite challenge or alliance. I have no clue how much all of that would cost, but if online play was $20 a month I would be more than willing to play it.

What do you guys think?

An MMO? No.

Cooperational? Maybe, but that's near impossible to do in a way that'd satisfy me.

NO MULTIPLAYER

leave the multiplayer to actually MMO's

now if they made an elder scrolls MMO maybe id play it, but it just wouldnt be right to add it on to the singleplayer. plus it would take up space that would have been for the single player side of the game so that means:

less quests
less NPC's
less things for you to do

basically it would mean much less of everything

An MMO would be awful for TES. It is impossible to have a world full of heroes while keeping it believable. It'd be a hit right in the face of any lore and background if you ask me.

The only form of multi-player that I wouldn't be completely opposed to in an Elder Scrolls game, would be two-player co-op, either system-link, split-screen or online (XboxLive, PSN, etc.). Anything else, and I certainly wouldn't like it.

Edit: Rohugh, it would seem you didn't clamp the lock down quite tight enough. :P

With all the trouble the speculation thread has caused, Rohugh used up all his "thread-closing" scrolls...

Im sorry, but that really is a terrible idea. I do not know what on Earth would make you think that would be a good idea.
