Yes, but grenades get a cooldown time so it will probably be a light drizzle of fire raining down upon your enemies.

I can't say i'm too worried about any of this as long as SD doesn't go back on their word and change the game play i'll be happy.

I'll wait to see what the soldier abilities officially end up as before I count out a light soldier.

In fact I don't think I can, or want to, count out any of the possible focused classes.

Yea I'll do it, you've put their lives in the best of hands.

Soldier is such an aggressive class, why would you want anything but a big, intimidating heavy with lots of health and a big gun? That's what soldiers are, that's what soldiers do. Everyone else has somewhere to be as quick as they can, so a squirrelly little light is best for getting there.

Soldiers are gonna be extremely important. There's absolutely no doubt about that. The lights with somewhere to be don't want the enemy to know where they are. Put a few big old heavies in plain view, and those busy little bees can do their little objectives easier. I will treasure a good soldier, and will try to make one of my own. He will be a heavy.

I'll experiment with a Light Soldier.

What it comes down to is doing your job the best you can. I expect a soldier to slay on the front lines, play with shortcuts, and general blow-sh**-uppery. I don't much care how others do it, so long as they get it done. I plan to use a big ol' boy to get it done.

Yeah, I also see Soldiers as mostly Mediums and Heavys, too. But, maybe once we get the game in our hands, there will be a way to be a Light Soldier. I have a feeling
though, it might require some practice and some really, really quick reflexes and smart playing. As long as you do your best doing your job (and having fun!! it's a game, ya know?), I think everyone's happy.

lol i never got a turtle i just kind of melded in and no one noticed i was new
my first char will be Light Soldier

reasons: everyone else is going light someone needs to be able to keep up and buff them if they need it
plus being able to outflank heavier soldiers with a teammate and we both still have ammo +bonus

so if everyone is scrapping their light solider add me lol i'll fill in

2nd char will be light/medium soldier/medic mix
3rd char will be light soldier/eng mix

i will change classes if needed in a match but i wanna go light soldier dominately

I'm not competitive in the least. Like you said, it really is just a game, we all bought it to have fun with it. Anything I want to think I'm the best at, I'm not gonna use a video game to resolve it.
