...And this is what I'm referring to. :wallbash:

Skyrim will definitely be better than Morrowind. I mean, Skyrim is better than Oblivion and Oblivion is better than Morrowind, so it's inherent. Now a question I have is, will Skyrim be better than Daggerfall.

Again, it's all opinionated. Oblivion is not better than Morrowind. Morrowind is not better than Oblivion. Daggerfall is not better or less good than either of them. It's all subjective.

I love Oblivion. I have played Oblivion over double the hours of the closest other game, Fallout New Vegas.

Morrowind, from what I have heard, had culture and complexity. I'm all for it. But, Oblivion had awesome combat and graphics, and a huge map. I'm for that to. What I want, is a perfect blend of the two, thereby creating a perfect game.

For those who started with Morrowind, no game will ever come close. The impact of first contact with a Tes game is huge and lifechanging. I guess it's the same with people who started with Daggerfall or Oblivion. I have confidence that Skyrim will be more like Morrowind in culture and story, but there are some directions that were changed completely in Oblivion and (unfortunately for some) they were mass appealing, so I don't think Beth will ever go back to the kind of gameplay where you must actually put more effort like in Morrowind. That's why I can tell that Morrowind will always be my number one, although I'm very excited about Skyrim and I'm sure I'll love it and play it till the dvd is worn, like I did with Oblivion.

I started with Oblivion loved it tried Morrowind and dumped oblivion forever :disguise:

I'm aware it's all opinionated but I'm well within my rights to say it if the OP can....

My first game was Morrowind, and I happened to think Oblivion was just as good.

I am also predicting that to me personally, Skyrim will end up being more fun to play than both Morrowind and Oblivion.

I'm pretty sure Skyrim will be better than Oblivion in just about any aspect.
There are a lot of things I liked about Morrowind that I'm not sure if will be added to Skyrim (travel services, weapons, armor sets, spells ++), but I really see nothing that I liked about Oblivion did that Skyrim can't (or won't) do better.

I think a Morrowind vs. Skyrim will be more relevant than an Oblivion vs. Skyrim...

My hopes for Skyrim are purely that I enjoy it. I hate comparisons. Several sides argue. No side moves the other. They go on believing what they believe. They waste time.

This is achieving nothing except the same old Morrowind vs Oblivion round of opinions. If you want to compare those two games there is probably a topic in the TES General forum, otherwise let's wait until Skyrim is released so you can talk with some authority on the comparative merits of the games.
