Political Map of Cyrodiil

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 1:45 pm

I was looking through my TES maps when I realized I have several political maps showing the territories of the great houses, legion and temple on Vvardenfell but no political map of Cyrodiil showing the division of the Counts' territories. Does such a thing exist?

Not exactly but you can see each region, and each Count rules over that region. County Chorrol, County Kvatch, etc...

The political system in Morrowind is more complex and the different Houses are actually autonomous in their territory, to a certain point. In Cyrodiil, though, everything is under the Empire and the Counts are merely representatives of the Emperor. So, no need for a political map. ;)

(How's that for a lame excuse?)

I think it's much more simple with Cyrodiil. The Counts and Countesses rule over their specific city and that's all they reign over. All of Cyrodiil belongs to the Empire, including these cities.

Actually, I think that their area of influence goes a little beyond their specific cities. If you look at the map of Cyrodiil, you'll notice that there are fairly large areas around the cities which are part of a county: "County Skingrad", "County Kvatch" etc.
