Hi, im a " Lone Wolf "

True true but Nullchampion is already my herald.

Apologies milord, I was assisting my brother. It's an intense week for Halo Reach challenges; as such I won't be here as obsessively as I usually am.

Something I don't think has been mentioned here (but of course can be found in the Compendium) is that Brink is primarily an objective-based game. There can be "lone wolf" objectives (the Operative class is wildly accepted as the most lone wolf class out of the four) but the game will likely be more enjoyable if you play as a team player, and it will reward you for making the game more enjoyable for your teammates. For an FPS, Brink doesn't place a lot of emphasis on killing.

Oppies are totally the emo kids who wanna do their job alone. They'd rather run over to the other team's side, live out a fantasy of being liked, then stab someone in the back.

I can't wait to make my oppie! :celebration:

You can go off by yourself sure, as long as your destination is something that helps the team. It's not like you have to follow people around every minute of every match. Just go Operative or Soldier, they seem like fairly independent classes.

I would think Engineer would be more dependent than a Soldier because they would have to run off by themselves to go set up a turret or plant a mine and cut off the enemy

Turtles show welcome and fitting in now. Pocket ninjas show honor and respect, and owls show wisdom.

Now see that would be something useful to have in the forum faq. How am I supposed to keep track of all these silly pictures? :bolt:

And if someone doesn't have anything to add to the topic, they'll at least have those to hand out. :spotted owl:

I don't play with friends much either, but I'd like to add a few of you guys to my Steam list. Let's see how good you really are!

Brink will make you not a lone wolf. Helping is the fastest way to level up, you can still go off and do your own thing, but you'll be helping and being a team player while lone-wolfing whether you realise it or not.
