is the best area in the game imo.. its the most untouched part of cyrodil... best for exploration and 'being in the wild'.

My favorite area is probably the triangle created by the Imperial City, Skingrad, and Chorrol. However I'd take exploring the Shivering Isles over anywhere in Cyrodil

I couldn't agree more. My original character rarely spent time there but my new character has spent loads of hours just wandering the woods, hills, rivers, etc.

Gorgeous looking too.

That's actually my most favorite spot to set up camp for 4-6 days at a time. :foodndrink:

My character just loves all the areas of the game. Well, maybe not quite so much inside the plains of Oblivion. After enjoying time in the soft warm ferns and weeping trees of Blackwood, she loves visiting the golden waving grasses and sunsets of the Gold Coast. She quite adores the forests around Chorrol and her home town of Bravil. Even the snowy lands of the northern Jeralls are spectacular (if dressed for it). She travels an awful lot and really loves all of Cyrodiil. :)

Actually, the Basin is to me the most boring part of Cyrodiil. Too open and too empty. But I guess it really all depends on what type of person you are. I prefer the woods and the high mountains with all the snow. I like these areas mainly because they give me a sense of calmness and peace.

It′s like the world has taken a break.... :sleep2:

Edit: I was thinking of the Heartlands. The Basin is actually rather nice

Anything without snow is my favorite, but the best part of Cyrodiil is probably the wilderness along the Orange Road. So beautiful! And I also love the Heartlands and the areas around Leyawiin. Best plant pickin'. :)

I agree that it is the 'wildest' region of Cyrodiil, having few and sparse traces of civilization. Interestingly enough, it was probably the area I least explored in the game. Hmm, I have to do it soon, I guess.

I always find the best plants around Skingrad...

I once had a mod that added sail-able boats into Cyrodiil. I sailed around the Basin region, it was awesome.

I agree, easily the best area! Colovian Highlands are my second fave.

I like the Colovian Highlands and Gold Coast, but the Nibenay Basin is definitely up there as well.

Something about the grasses of the Highlands... It's just peaceful.

My character loves relaxing inside NPCs houses... Especially after he's just stabbed them to death in their sleep. Exploring the mysteries of their basemants and discovering the hidden treasures within their pantries is always so rewarding.

I think everywhere is my favourite place in this game...this is the most beautiful game ive ever played! my favourite time of day, though, is around 6PM, or around sunset, because when its a nice day the sunset makes everything a very nice pinky-orange :) i love it!
