Welcome to the family. I love to hear from people who only recently have discovered Elder Scrolls. I'm also curious of why/how they have missed it for so long, since the last game in the series came out so long ago (4.5 years).

My anticipation level for Skyrim is bigger than any game ever, including Morrowind and Oblivion.

My case for being late to the party was always being a Playstation fan with a sub-par PC that could only ever run older games from previous console generations, hence I didn't come across the series until one was made for a Playstation console. That was was Oblivion and I got my first PS3 in late 2008. Oblivion was my first PS3 game, and ever since, TES V has been my most anticipated game ever.

Definitely anticipated, but there are other upcoming games in this year I'm eager to play and own as well.

I used to be excited for the past two ES games, but I would wait...and wait.... and then the game gets delayed, so I would wait some more.... By then, I would forget about waiting and patiently play other games while I am waiting...and then, on release day, I will get SOOOOOOO excited, I try to get it in the first few days of release. But I would have such HIGH expectations, I would disappointed in some areas of the games.
However, they were still great games in the end, even if they take some time to adjust to. ^_^

=) I know that all the ES games will be good in the end, but if I get too excited about it, then, when/if a delay happens, the wait would feel so much worse, lol!

This year, I am somewhat excited... but, strangely, I am not as excited as I used to be back when Morrowind/Oblivion were released. I think maybe I have learned my lesson from the past ES (and other) games to not get overexcited in order to avoid any disappointments if something happens or if something falls short of expectation.

Also.... I'm playing Oblivion for the first time, so that game will totally CONSUME MOST OF MY (note: FREE) TIME, oh, yes! So, no, this wait will go by quickly! =D

You anticipated the release of Morrowind back in 2002 but you just started playing Oblivion? That doesn't make any sense. Please explain!

@Mankar Camoran - Skyrim is also very important to me, but it doesn't get in the way with family members. I just discuss it with them! I've got one elder brother and two younger ones, and they are all into TES!

But there are always a few things in my life that are more important then a video game can ever be.

I don't know anyone who likes The Elder Scrolls series but me and you guys. Don't get me wrong, I love my family and I never have fights and my parents are together happily and I love all of my siblings, its just that Skyrim has managed to climb above those things somehow. Has nothing to do with how much i love my family, its how much I love Skyrim.

I am much much more hyped for Pokemon Black and White, but when I get those two, then I will focus all out on Skyrim.

"More than any other game, ever, for any platform."

I'm not exaggerating, either. I've never anticipated a game this much, before.

Yeah, this for me. It's almost getting to the point where I'm getting depressed (seriously, I have a diagnosed mood disorder) because the wait seems so damn long.

My family thinks I'm crazy and far too obsessed with Skyrim for my own good. Yes, it's true that I talk about it a lot at home and that my life is currently revolving around the game, but I just love the game too much to help it... or care what anyone thinks.

However, I certainly don't love the game more than my family. I am more entertained by the game and information about it than I am by my family, but I still consider my family to be more important. It's just that I'd rather spend time playing my games than spend time with them. :P

I must say that I have never been in love with a game this much before I have played it or even after. I already like Skyrim more than Morrowind or Oblivion and I have never played it before. I don't know if this is a smart thing to say because it might be insulting to my family members, but there is NOTHING more important to me than Skyrim. Nothing. I mean it.

Hahaha, I really love your enthusiasm!!
