I saw in-game footage and the trailer of Two Worlds II. I wasn't impressed. It just looks awkward and how weapons connect looks strange. It actually kind of reminds me of Age of Conan combat. I think Skyrim's combat will easily blow it out of the water. I know the spell system is based off some card slot mechanism now, but I honestly didn't even follow the game that much.
That's right TW II is not in the class level of a TES game, and is quite rough in comparison, but is catching up steadily, and has some nice ideas at work.
The fighting mechanism is quite an improvement over the TW I, but still a class-B game.
But I really like the crafting system and I thing it is superior to the one from MW and OB's Armorer skill, and FONV's crafting system, and almost any other crafting system that I have seen in a game.
In fact I have suggested a crafting system for future TES games
http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1156909-on-mining-and-crafting which was inspired by the crafting system in TW II, but I have elder-scrollized the idea to fit in a TES game.
