on PS3...........i would suggest...........um............er. ah nuts i got nothing. maybe grant turismo 5 although it apparently isnt living up to the hype. :shrug: i will be playing Deus Ex Human Resouces, the witcher 2, mass effect 3, red orchestra 2 battle for stalingrad, forza, test drive unlimited 2 and that one MMO where you play as either the illuminati or the templars and some eastern mafia thing. im not sure if all of those games are on PS3 although i think the witcher might be.

Dragon Age 1 & 2 and Mass Effect 1 & 2.

Dragon Age: Origins. Bethesda is the king of Sandbox RPG's, BioWare is the king of story driven RPG's. You don't want to miss this one. And if you like it, Dragon Age 2 will soon be released.
Red Dead Redemption. Easily the best Rockstar game i have ever played.
Mass Effect 2. Same as Dragon Age, except even more so. But not without playing the first one. Get ME1 for one of the other platforms first or do yourself a favor and forget everything about it, atleast if you care about things like the characters, story and the universe.
Uncharted 1 + Uncharted 2. As a PS3 owner, you probably already know about them but just in the case you dosn't, i am gonna mention them anyway.

This, basically. I've not played it in a while now, but it held my attention for well over a year pretty much consistently. Great game.
