I am looking for mods that make fallout 3 more fps like. For example, a mod that lets your character lean left and right for shooting around corners, a mod that improves the aiming so you can snipe people without being in vats, a mod that adds perks that help you snipe better, a mod that gives bonuses to aiming while crouched, etc. I know people are probably thinking, "Why not just play STALKER?", I really like the fallout 3 setting and I have played STALKER too many times.

I can't seem to find any mods that add lean to the game. I wonder, would it be possible to add something like that with FOSE?

You already can do these things. I disabled VATS in my game and I have no problem being a sniper. Plus it's already one of the game's mechanics that your aim is improved when you're crouching.

Just curious as to how that is working out for you. Every time I snipe I notice that if I am from a long enough distance, if I kill somebody then the 4-5 guys next to him don't even get aroused and just keep walking around, even with him lying on the ground. Is there any countermeasure toward this or do you just pick them off one by one with these game mechanics?

Not just with FOSE alone - somebody would have to make the animations

That doesn't work very well. I tried it and I ended up having Raiders that just stood there while I blasted away at them. Unless there's been an update since I used it, it causes a major AI bug.

PS; I just noticed that it's had a couple of updates since then so I guess I should give it another try. It is rather silly behaviour when your sniping. It makes things far too easy being able to pick one off at a time. I always clear the entire courtyard of Evergreen Mills that way, just go up into the hills around it and start killing them one by one.

While my mod won't make sniping better, except you having to watch your bullets, it does make it more FPS like. I introduce to you, http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10921! It limits your ammo by dropping ammo if you have more ammo then allowed by my mod. This should make sure that you make every shot count.
