CTD on Sleeping

Okay, basically, I thought that I had gotten all of my CTD issues worked out after a fresh install, but now I seem to be haunted by CTDs every time I try to sleep. Not immediately after activating the object, but when the 'hours slept' countdown finishes. I had Real Sleep installed but it was annoying to me and I got rid of it... only mentioning this because it's the only thing even vaguely sleep-related that I can think of in my load order.

Anyone have any idea what the issue might be?

As you're running the latest, complete version of Armamentarium, why are you also running the older ArmamentariumArmor and Katanas ESPs, which are meant for installations of only two of the four portions of Armamentarium?

The Artifacts.ESP should run inside your Bashed Patch, not after it. Run BOSS.

I did run BOSS. The old .ESPs for Armamentarium are for the vendors. Artifacts is merged in with the bashed patch and shows as such (**) on the list. And regardless, none of those would affect sleeping in any way, as far as I know.

Any other thoughts?

Per the readme from the newer version, of the two major Armamentarium releases you've mixed together:

# If you want the merchants to sell up to wooden/iron/steel items only and are using a Overhaul (OOO/FCOM) then copy the 'ArmamentariumLLVendors.esp' to oblivion\data folder.

# Else If you want the merchant to sell weapons and armor up to elven/orcish then use and are not using a Overhaul then use 'ArmamentariumLLArmaVendors.esp' instead, not for Overhauls.

If you want Weapons, Armor, and Robes from Artifacts II has well. You must install the Artifacts mod. (bsa, esm/esp) and use Artifacts-ArmaCompleteAddon.esp.


So you're using the wrong ESPs to get the goods in the shops. And this goes for Artifacts, as well. It's not a good idea to mix ESPs from different releases of a mod, unless the modder specifically indicates it is.

Artifacts is merged in with the bashed patch and shows as such (**) on the list. And regardless, none of those would affect sleeping in any way, as far as I know.

It's not merged, not if it's listed to load after the Bashed Patch.

While I understand your frustration, I figure that anything which contributes to creating significant problems in a modlist needs to be resolved. Issues tend to disguise one another, or sometimes combine.

E:Seems to be fixed. Thanks all :)

E2: Okay, scratch that. I'm now getting random crashes everywhere. I mean I can't play for more than 3-5 mintues without a CTD... >.< Again, I have no idea what could be causing the problem. The only mod I've since added is the Aylied Wells [Ayelid Wells.esp], which does not alter any cells where I have suffered a crash etc.

Please, any help is (again) appreciated.


Fixed. Problem was Reneer's Guard Overhaul, oddly enough. This thread can be locked.
