The Enclave in future Fallout Games

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 11:14 am

Thats interesting...hmmm. I need to think on that theory

Is there any examples of cloning in Fallout? If that was what happened then that would actually be kinda cool (kinda...Im not sure what to think about it actually :homestar: ) and would help explain the massive numbers of soldiers in Fallout 3...

Except for it being against the whole idea of people being individuals, I cannot imagine Autumn or such even considering such evil, and besides that stupid Vault 108, no, no cloning.

Yeah I don't think it actually happened.

Yeah no Im totally against that theory now. You're right it would de-humanize the Enclave and indeed basically make them "laser fodder" and would deminish the emotional aspect that supporting them entails. Too radical of a theory.

I hate the idea of cloning being the reason behind the Enclave population boom but Enclave were the ones behind the Vaults. Since FO3 had the "Gaaaarrryyyy..." Must mean they had the technology :whistling:

See this is what happen when games arn't well writen to explain things :verymad: :brokencomputer:

Well we saw the army, but where were the civilians? The factories for their Power Armours and Vertibirds? The children or their teachers? One faction as xenophobic and self-sufficient as the Enclave wouldn't function entirely as an army. I'll bargain that their is a safe city/bunker somewhere on the East Coast for the Enclave to survive. Now it'll be unprotected, and largely deficient of the young men who would join an army. In other words; a great Enclave to feature in another game.

They would offer weapns, technology, vehicles, all for the protection of their people. I believe that they would funtion like Nellis did in New Vegas, a sort of wildcard act that are devastating on the players enemies...

I wouldn't mind looting their graves. It would make no sense for them to return all powerful and stuff. The remaining Enclave are still out there; probably hiding in Canada or somewhere central US.

Enclave don't need civilians, when a women gets pregnant she delivers the baby a week after and the baby is fully grown in three days and knows fully well everything about Enclave and how to walk, read, shoot stuff.
How?
Science!

Or plotholes.

I'd say the Enclave as a shadow govenrment of the United States of America is one of the most interesting factions in Fallout. Fallout 3 screwed them over by only showing them as laser fodder.

Yes but FO3 did such a bad job with Enclave (IMO) that many people are sick of them. How many times do we need to nuke them? Their role in FO3 is so full of plot holes I doubt FO4 can fill them, not with Bethesda doing the writing. Enclave were awesome in FO2. FO3 they are just canon fodder in crap PA and Wonder Weapons all over the place and some how multiple like Rabbits. Clones?

Remnants making a life doing something else other then genocide for future games Is all I want to see again.

True, and in the End we did not even get to destroy them (till broken steel). The BoS' Robot did all the work.
