But the wallpapers were a nice throwaway gift that I didn't really expect. I can't believe some of the moaning on this thread -especially when they already flagged up that there will be big updates / info next week.

Like which DirectX? Minimum CPU and ram requirements, etc?

Please no speculation - I've read those threads to death and back again - very boring. Prefer official word so I can start budgeting.

Most likely not until quite close to the release - and perhaps not until the release.

However, I suspect that we'll hear if there'll be a DirectX 10/11 option for the PC version sooner than that. Not quite minimum/recommended requirements, but if there is a DX11 option for PC, then that at least gives you some idea of what hardware you'll need to appreciate all of the graphical options.

I made my own literally the day it was announced.

Their wallpapers are essentially what I did.

They could have done better, because mine took me not even 5 minutes. (And that's not an exaggeration.)
