You haven't played it?

I'll give you the gist of why I think so (in my opinion obviously): You are supposed to improve upon aspects of your previous game in sequels, not remove 3/4 of the features that most people loved. Basically, it is a broken, and unfinished game.

Actually I have played it. I thought It was a pretty good game, although the approach it took was to attract COD players, I say it worked out rather well.

Sure, it wasn't the greatest Killzone (Killzone 2 beats it by a mile), but it did improve in a few key aspects of gameplay.

However, this is not the place to discuss such matters, as the moderators shall come down upon us in mere seconds and we will be noted as spammers..

Play Enemy Territory: Quake Wars - another game by Splash Damage, and has the core bits of BRINK.

There's a free demo with one map. The AI in singleplayer is more than enough to compete against real people. Often times, they're plain out better than players.

Yep, it has to go against these titles:
Gears of War 3
Modern Warfare 3 (BOOOO)
Battlefield 3 (what's with all the 3?)
Warhammer 40k Space Marine
Dead Space 2
Assassins Creed 3

Back on topic:
Chances are that if you became a level 20 by playing on easy, you'd svck in multiplayer matchmaking.

Thats an odd list. Why not include Bethesda games like RAGE and Skyrim?

Yeah I'd be extremely surprised if a standard FPS won game of the year
(Not that the entire list is comprised of FPS')

It's a list of games that have done well before. (Warhammer included because warhammer games sell fast)

This thread has gotten really off topic... In response to the original inquiry, they mentioned that just because some unlocks come later, doesn't mean they're stronger. They said that any of the powerful unlocks they had they put really early on to ensure that everyone would be on the same level and have access to the important stuff early on. So trying to level up on a low difficulty then switching wouldn't put you in that much of a lead, if not behind others.
