My favorite playstyle, which I am not using for my current game, is running. This means that when you dungeon dive your priority is to get the loot from the chests. If an enemy gets in your way then you knock them out of your way rather than bother fighting them until one is dead. Why waste time in combat when you can double your gain by zipping through the cells through swiftness of the Steed sign or running stealth? Scumbag blocking you? Run the other way around or paralyze them. Luckily you don't have OOO installed because that prevents you from picking locks while in combat. That will not do. You do not care how many foes, neither how strong or how many, because you will be in and out of the dungeon and they can do nothing but take a few shots at you as you fly past them and will eat your dust by the time you are done. Oblivion gates a problem? Not for two minutes of your time to get to the sigil stone.
Speed is the defining characteristic of my playstyle, as well. I take Thief or Steed as birthsign, and play long-legged Argonians. With OOO Steed also boosts your stamina regen, which is nice. Right from level 1 you can outrun pretty much anything but mountain lions. Sometimes I play a hit-and run sword swinger with a long-reach weapon, but usually an archer. Depending on the terrain, you can simply jump right over baddies and keep going.
I stopped using spells, period. No healing spells, no night-eye, nothing. It's a roleplaying touch I guess, and the restriction makes the game more fun. I still make occasional use of scrolls that I find, and I'm sure to level up alchemy at least a bit for poisons etc.
