these ones would have lot of polygons. :(

these ones shouldn't require too many polygons (but the three and five).
do you have any texture to use for them?

Is there any existing amulet in game that could have this shape?

For number 1 (http://www.photographyontheroad.com/Jewelry/Project-Sunshinse-Jewelry/profile-on-white/736192164_RweB8-S.jpg), I was thinking that where-ever there is a new color, that mesh part would be segmented. So, the border around the face would get its own texture. The dark face would use another texture. The light gold inlays (spots, eyes, wiskers, inner ear) would have its own texture. And so on. Do you think that could work?

You know, that would make a very good Skink's Amulet, because Skink is a member of the Mages' Guild. The Guild signs all have that stylized Horus eye.

Hmm... I think I'm looking for syles that differ from the single round center stone flanked by a few smaller round (or perfectly square) stones. http://www.hkjewellery.co.uk/images/rings/2702_2.jpg and the stones on either side are rectangular and set at low angles to the center stone.

I'm not sure if this is something that would work well: http://www.nemesiszone.co.uk/images/R111.jpg. Perhaps the bracket could be simplified?

If you don't have a ring texture fix mod, then certain vanilla ring textures will appear black (Bethesda messed up the textures when they put them in the Morrowind.bsa). You can grab the correct textures off your CS disc and plop them in your Morrowind\Data Files\Textures folder, or get the Morrowind Patch Project.

You can get the MPP here: http://planeteldersc...w...ail&id=7347
The original Ring Texture Fix mod is here: http://planeteldersc...w...ail&id=1327

If I have the Morrowind Patch Project installed, do I need to install The original Ring Texture Fix mod as well ?

I don't think so: if I recall correctly, the fix is incorporated already into the MPP. Doesn't matter if you use both, I think the Original Ring Texture Fix doesn't have an .esp and is either a mesh&texture replacer or just a texture replacer. :) So, you'll just be overwriting files (meshes or textures) that are identical.

I think. I could be wrong.

@Anteres: thanks! :D I used one of the Mournhold streetlamp textures (tray or cap, doesn't really matter). The UV map for the ring band is really hard for me to tweak since it looks like a chaotic jumble of nodes. That's what I get for not learning how to use Blender, eh? :P It's okay, I don't think I need to tweak it at all, so don't worry about it.

:goodjob: I love this mod :D

the work, effort and time used to make this mod really shows through. Thanks for providing us with these wonderful visual updates! Each visual enhancment for these objects refeclts not only thier name and what they do but also their history, lore and game enviroment ( i.e where they are found, how they are found, who has them etc...)

keep up the good work and i cant wait for addons!!!!!

Will these new rings and such be packaged in with the overall mod? I really like the new Ring of Phynaster, etc.

Yes, they will be incorporated into an update of the mod.

Oh, geez, I had almost forgotten all the work that will need to be done making icons, putting together screenshots, and putting it all together in the CS! :bonk: One step at a time, one step at a time... :cold:

I suppose you are working on that update right now and don't panic. I like this mod very much and thank you Alaisiagae.

Progress update: been tweaking stuff, made a few new things, and I've got almost all the icons done. If anyone wants to share any ring/amulet meshes, now is the time.

Fantabydabulous, thanks for asking. :P

No, really, I do have the mod put together, I just need to test it in-game to see if I've got the sizing correct this time around.

Oh, hehe, guess what? This time, I've replaced about 100 things. Mwhahaha!
