I'm trying to decide if I should join...

i need help understanding how this rp works out.

Also, I would like to know how many people have currently been admitted so I don't join an empty rp.

Thank you.

There are about nine people in this RP at the moment...

In this RP you'll be inside the City of Denver a couple of days after the bombs drop and after that it's just character interacting and making your own path in this city. It's pretty non-linear so it doesn't have a clear goal, it's basically just surviving. I'm I getting this right?

And to Caveat, yeah, I should know that also, but I hate numbers:P

And ah, your bring the tinkerer to the table, I like her. And the robot...Have I ever mentioned my extreme displeasure of cats? At any rate, it'll be fun Rping with ya, first Fallout one, right?

A rp about surviving?

Sounds complicated.

I can't tell if your using sarcasm.

But any rate I simplified it to the extreme. The best way to see is by example, you'll see what I mean when we start it. Or when someone more competent than me comes on here to explain it.

Cause its not constant action?

Not in a position to criticize, but surviving isn't that complicated.

And that's the beauty of it.

Some people seem to think that complex=better.

I actually do like complex things, in that it's well written and full of detail(that's not just completely filler). I'd count Fallout: New Vegas or BioShock as complicated games, for example. :] But yes, complex doesn't necessarily equate to something good. Just as the length of a post doesn't equate to it being of high quality.

About to start the topic...

There aren't really factions or anything set up just yet...because in a setting just after the bombs drop it wouldn't really make sense for their to be.

Think of it as more similar to your first 5 minutes in Fallout 3, instead of your 30th 5 minutes.

More exploring and struggling (hopefully) instead of running up holding down the trigger until that thing in front of you dies.
