Hey guys, I am new to modding and I was reading guides to how to install them and all of them say that FOMM is a necessity. So I download the files and every time that I try to open FOMM I get an error message saying that I need to read a readme file, but it simply fails to launch properly... is there any solutions to this that I may have overlooked?

Random guesses:
Do you have direct to drive version? Not sure how nicely that plays with it.
Are you using windows vista? If so you don't want to install in the default location, unless you have turned off UAC.
Did you install fomm in your fallout folder? In other words you should have a folder labled fomm inside the same place as your fallout exe.

Anyhow those are just off the wall guesses. I have never had that issue.

Ah, I am using Vista; I will look up how to turn off the UAC, thanks for the help!
