Semi-Permanent Oblivion Sky

I went to Kvatch and closed gate, saved Martin and had a clear "normal" sky afterwards. Since then, about 6 or 7 game days the sky has been the dark dreary red associated with the oblivion gates. This even continues while raining. There have been a couple of short breaks with blue skies but only for a very short time. Posting load order so mods am using will be shown. I think I got everything installed properly but would like any guidance. Thanks in advance. (As a side note, is there a tutorial on how one puts the scroll boxes in posts?)

As to the Problem....Sounds weather Related try asking in the All Natural thread. I also use it and I have one more ESP then you Do..Its All natural EW + NW.esp.....No clue if you would need that but thought worth noting...

Could you right-click on the File tab, choose "list mods" and paste here? Really, I just want to know if you are running SL, but, for future reference, the stuff loading after the bashed patch can be important as well, so just post your entire LO.

It's a bug I just found and fixed in All Natural. The Oblivion weather stays stuck on when you close a Gate.

Make sure you've got Fix Pack 2 installed, there's a semi-fix in there. Otherwise, it should disappear just fine if you go a certain distance away from the gate, just as with vanilla. The weather should also have transitioned out to something new since then, so I'm not really sure what's going on.

I'm afraid that the fix I've got isn't something that can be distributed, since I've also made a lot of fairly major changes to the way the weather works, so it's no longer just a simple patch. I'll see if I can release a patch without these changes, since it's a big problem if you get it.

Otherwise, if the above suggestion doesn't work, I'd suggest you uninstall All Natural until I can get a fix out.

Oh, and next time please use the official thread (link in sig).

Hmm wonder if this is what helped Prompt me to "Get it Done" I was seeing this BUT always returned to normal weather if you get far enough away...problem is evey 10 feet is a new Gate...lol. So i concentrated on finishing ..No more Gates.

The All Natural Weather is SO much better I would rather keep it and just rid my Game of the Gates!!

I forgot whose thread this was for a while there...Did you read the last few posts? Remove Clean Quit and use http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22410 instead.

I have the same problem, so I guess I'll grab the hotfix that was mentioned above. Currently I fix it by running to the nearest map marker and fast travelling in place. The weather will reset.

Edit: I checked, and I already have fix pack v2. It doesn't seem to help at all. The weather gets stuck every single time I go near a gate.

I should have some sort of patch out for this fairly soon, I'm currently waiting on Brumbek to get back to me about his SI issues, and I've just sent Arthmoor a new set of fixes for this issue (and a few others) for further testing. Once I get that feedback from them, I can release an updated fix pack. :)

The trouble is that I've already done most of the major changes for 1.0, and I'm fixing bugs on top of that base. I can't release those major changes in a fix pack, as they require readme and structure updates, and clean save upgrades, etc. so aren't suitable for distribution as a patch. I don't really want to 'pull an FCOM' and release a 0.9.9.5 either, so that just leaves me with the option of applying my bug fixes to what's currently released, but then they may not work as they do ATM for me. They probably will, but there's always the chance.
