Looking for a save-game cleaner

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 11:00 pm

I've been looking for a save-game cleaner similar to qwerty's, but one that won't delete dropped items in non-owned cells. The reason is, I have many places I call home, whether the game recognizes them as mine or not. I don't want all the items I've taken into those cells gone. I just want to clean up all the dead actors that the game failed to get rid of.

Any help is appreciated.

Why not just run without a save game cleaner? Are you using SL?

If you just want to get rid of the corpses, I think changing the cell reset delay in oblivion.ini might do what you need. Items you've had in inventory are permanent (without a cleaner) but actors don't get into your inventory, so they should go away on a reset. Making resets happen faster will get the corpses gone sooner.

Wrye Bash can fix saves, but it is not a save game cleaner...last I checked. This sounds like more of an aesthetic venture than a "save my save game" venture, but OP has only posted once...
