New Vegas is better than fallout 3? I don't want to open up a can of worms here because I'm not sure if this is as much of a heated debate like it is between morrowind and oblivion but I just personally enjoyed new vegas a lot more. I'd like to see what other members of the community think.

Eh there are some aspects in which it is far better and others far worse,I would say they are equals.THe main thing going against FNV for me is that its too similar to FO3.

You're not the only one. I really enjoyed both games but I think new vegas is better. I think mainly because I enjoyed the setting more because the whole vegas vibe suited my flavor better.

Even with all of the bugs/glitches I prefer new vegas. I like fallout 3 too but I feel the world just feels more alive in new vegas.

I think FO3 had way better areas to explore. FO:NV has a better story line but they are both pretty liner and have a lot of hand-holding. I say so far because while I rented it when it first came out I just recently bought it and am playing through it again.

Yeah. It had better scenery, better locations, better game play, better weapons, better karma system, better quests, better storyline and actually had an ending where you learn what happened to the people you interacted with.

IMO, Fallout New Vegas is the game Fallout 3 should have been.
