Blender 3D: Noob to Pro. PDF

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 12:54 pm

Hi. I am looking to become better at useing blender. I noticed that there is a wiki book dedicated to helping people do just that. Well, I can not allways be on the internet so I looked into downloading the entier wiki book as a PDF file. I looked at the disscussion page and saw that someone had asked the question:

Q: how can I download the ENTIRE book in PDF-format?
A: it can be downloaded http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Wikibooks:PDF_versions, it is split in 3 parts though.

I clicked on the link only to find that the book was not there. I figure it had to be there at some point right? Other wise how could they know it was split into 3 parts? My questin is, does any one know where I can download these files?

--Thanks!

mnpred,

The book at the link provided by washington is in .pdf form, is very helpful, and covers the latest stable version of Blender: 2.49. However, the methods described in the text to apply textures are not compatible with Oblivion. Textures applied to meshes for Oblivion must be UV mapped and the CD Schools book does not cover that. Once you've finished the first three chapters, you can learn about basic UV mapping and creating collision for Oblivion from my:http://www.invision.tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/forum/19-modeling/. Good luck.
