Glorious end battle...

I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but they're already done with the game, as far as I know. From now on till release it's just testing, testing, and more testing.

No....they are not done. They are still polishing things over, testing and adding new content if they feel it needs a little more. They are most likely nearly done seeing as how they announced the release date a year before it comes out, meaning they have confidence that they will have finished the last touches on the game awhile before it's time to go gold and release.

The "epic" battle in Oblivion in front of the Great Gate brought my computer to it's knees. I'd love to see it, but I don't know if they can do that kind of thing yet. I'd rather have a mano -a- draco with Alduin.

My computer handled the battle just fine, as far as that goes.

But it still svcked because of the AI, about every third swing of a weapon I was hitting a friendly who wouldn't stay out of the way. And mind you, I was running for the farthest opponent I could find trying to get in some hits by staying away from "Friendly Fire Incorporated."

Yeah, nice big one-on-one fight, thank you very much.

The battle of Bruma involved me smacking and blasting a bunch of my own guys until I returned from the great gate and they turned on me. Either Beth takes off the friendly fire or makes battles large enough so killing a couple of guys who jump in the way of my fireball not matter. Either way they shouldn't turn on me when they jumped in front of my attack animation.

Agreed

Polishing is an important step to flesh out all the bugs and make tweaks and adjustments to the game, its almost done, its not done yet or I would be out buying it now or already have it playing it... :celebration:

Oh my God yes, they need to fix that damned friendly fire thing. Getting Martin to the temple was the worst for me. Swing, swing, swing, "murderer"! Swing, swing, "murderer"!
