Must Have Mods

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 8:17 am

Well, as I never finished morrowed, as I bought it only shortly before Oblivion came out, when I was looking for a FPS RPG, so im about to re-install it, and play it, im wondering if there are some must have mods?

I dont need uber items, or more quests, im mostly gonna focus on the main quest, and the bigger side quests, such as guilds etc.

So sounds, or graphics boosts would be nice, game play fixes, etc, or some great add on mods.

Thanks guys and gals.

Besides patches and maybe graphics mods, I don't recommend anything else for a first time playthrough. But trust me, the game doesn't need any mods to be great.

Lots of links to lists of people's favourite mods, too.

Yeah, I wasnt planning on putting in 50 mods, just some mods that give fixes (unofficial or not), and maybe some nice sounds/texture packs

That would make you the target audience of my mod list, or at least close to it.

The link I gave will point you in the right way.
BTB's list and Povuholo's ToMorrowind are excellent starting places, without being overwhelming.
But it ultimately comes down to your personal taste, and no one can decide for you.
