Trap-creation?

I would like to see some outdoor traps...like you are going through a crevasse, and tons of ice and snow fall on you.

Or the old school approach. Get some fresh herbs, grass or whatever pile it up under a huge tree, climb up in the tree with a huge daedric dagger in your teeth. Take some skooma and wait for the mammoth. We are talking serious viking madness on this one though, maybe best to leave thoose hairy big fellas alone, don't want a tusk stuck up in, well ya know ;)

Kate Beckinsale? :hubbahubba:

Seriously though I might have to go and rewatch 10000 BC for the http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xp8nGJezd8&t=1m23s. (ignore the lame commentary, it's the only video i could find of the scene)

Not that I would mind seeing it in the game...but I've never really been into making traps in games....think I did it like once in dao....maybe I'm just lazy :)

The only realistic solution would be a bear trap. Lay it down like the mines in Fallout 3.
You're in a dark cave with bandit at the end of it, lay the trap, shoot him with an arrow, he comes running around the corner steps on the bear trap. Bandit is trapped and then stabbed to death.

Trap could be reusable but can carry like only one at a time.

Explosive traps could also work, also varying sizes of animal trap. Fox traps perhaps?

I guess Two Worlds had holding traps, like bear foothold traps, that you could place down and if any enemy walked over them it would hold them in place for 10-30+ seconds.

They'll be back in Two Worlds II, which is what I'll be playing for awhile, comes out in 2 days, January 25th.

I would think Skyrim could do something like this to go along with their crafting system at least. If Two Worlds can do it TES should be able to make it good. :)
