Difficulty/Ranking Up

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 5:13 pm

I've always svcked at this game, I don't know why but I just do. I have been playing it for around 30 hours (second attempt to complete the game after losing interest) and I am following a guide, I play the game on very easy.

Obviously this guy in the guide is playing it on Normal because he is like level 20 already and I am still only level 14. I was just wondering if I continue to follow the guide and explore places/do all side missions and eventually do the main story, will I be able to get to rank 20 playing on very easy?

As long as you keep killing monsters/hacking computers/picking locks/finishing quests, all you can go is up. :)

You will eventually, but it will take you longer since your XP rewards are reduced playing on Very Easy.

Just keep hitting spots where enemies respawn every three game days, and you'll rack up the XPs quickly enough.

Maybe you should consider upping the difficulty to normal if leveling up is going too slow for your taste. I'm always doing fine on normal, and I aim like a blind molerat on punga seeds... There are a few rather game-breaking items you can pick up, along with game-breaking followers - Fawkes if you're good (allegedly - I've never been good enough to have him, personally.. not that I would like to have a mutant as a follower anyway <_< ) and Dogmeat, if you have Broken Steel - usually you can just sit back and wait until he chews up any attackers, since he's set as a priority target.

But other than that, if you want to keep your settings it's like the others said - just keep killing stuff and you'll get there, eventually.
