I want to try out this 'Clam Supreme' that's apparently so good it has its own map indicator.

The peak is high hrothgar though. The mountain on which it sits a top (throat of the world) should be more in the middle?

The mountain is Throat of the World. High Hrothgar is the settlement on the summit where the Greybeards live. And why does it matter if it's in the middle? It wasn't right in the middle of the old map either.

Yeah I don't see an issue either.

No high hrothar is a settlement on top of throat of the world. 7000 steps it takes to get there. Its where the greybeards live.

I'm talking about its location on the map.

It looks like they just decided that south is warmer and north is colder cause that's the way it is in Norway. Nirn doesn't have an equator!

The mountains north of Cyrodiil are clearly almost arctic. Elevation is the most important factor in climate. I hope the coast isn't all frozen. That should be the populated, seafaring region.

will skyrim's gameplay map be bigger than oblivion's gameplay map?

As a bird flies, who knows. It seems it will certainly feel larger as the terrain appears to be quite a bit rougher - more surface area, and less direct routes. Placing mountains in the middle of the map will have a far more signfiicant impact on travel than Cyrodil's bordering mountains.

...Unless they design the game like Big Rigs and allow you to scale 90 degree angles without even slowing down. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mB1zWEhgrLs

LOL, worst game ever made and released to the public. When I saw it years ago it was the largest WTF moment in my entire life.
