What exactly does this imply? A Halo on Kinect? Would you like that?

I know I wouldn't... What do you guys make of this?

Well it will get the Halo nerds some exercise.

Seriously, I kinda expected this. New technology, new games. Halo is the cash cow of Microsoft and so any opportunity they an get to milk it more they will. Next it'll be gears of war or something. Part of it I think is to get the hardcoe audience to go out and buy kinect instead of relying on the gimmick and family games crowd for sales.

How exactly would you shoot? Melee would be plausible but I really don't like the idea of having to have it register me shooting. Online would be annoying as hell. I have trouble casting spells in Harry potter at times I doubt shooting a gun would be easier to register..

I wouldn't get it. I have no plans on wasting money on a peripheral I don't need or want, even for a game from the Halo series.

It means that Microsoft wants us to know that they bought the address, otherwise they'd have gotten it through less-obvious means, meaning it is part of a viral marketing strategy for something halo-related

Or, as mentioned by MadCat, it's a maneuver to stop someone from cyber-squatting it.

Again, the forum's ability to complain about something not even released amazes me. :P

It could be interesting if done correctly, although I would rather have Kinect features added to a regular game than a Kinect exclusive ordeal.
