Question about running Morrowind Mods

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 3:26 pm

Hi everyone. I just started playing Morrowind for the first time and I've found some great mods I'd like to try. The problem is that when I try to install them I get an error message saying something about it being unable to play the mod because the mod was created more recently than the Morrowind .esm, which was like in 2002. Anyway, I was wondering if you guys have had this problem and if you could tell me how to get around the error? I'm dying for a house of my own in Morrowind and somehow killing people for them just isn't the same. (LOL)

Thanks so much,
Tracy

You should read this http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1060141-mod-recommendations-for-new-players/ which basically is for new players. :read:

Leonardo's link should help you with most of the technical stuff.

For your first playthrough I'd suggest not to install too many mods to be able to experience the "vanilla flavor" of unmodded Morrowind. In my personal opinion it's worth it. :)

There is a place that a lot of people don't know about, a modest but cozy little habitable abode in Vivec St. Delyn canton Waist North-Two. Watch out for your neighbors if you decide to move in though. ;)
