More in depth "Making of Brink" stuff?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 7:49 am

So, SD made developer diaries and mini documentaries on Brink, and I really loved Valve's developer commentary.

So I think SD should make stuff going more in depth with the games development, maybe a full blown documentary, or a book, (think Raising The Bar), just wondering if you guys would be interested, how likely it would be, what would be in it, and what medium would/should be used.

I'd like it, but it probably won't happen. If we get any info at all before release, its going to be about gameplay.

I really like what Valve did for TF2 in terms of a documentary. If Brink had a feature like that it would be a bonus for me.

It kinda sounds like the stuff that would be in a Collector's Edition, although we won't get it.

There might be a few short vids or interviews, but I don't see them making a documentary or books. Maybe a "Tips from the Developer" kinda thing too.

Not saying I wouldn't enjoy these, just saying that it looks bleak.

I think that Brink would work well with a graphic novel. The art style of the game would really fit the bill nicely.
