lots more with ton of extra nodes and bodyparts for customizing i want to be able to go crazy on gear and baubles. cloaks, hats, jewelry, armor, sheathed weapons, canteens, backpacks, EVERYTHING! even if it comes with a burden penalty to end all penalties. :chaos:

You got to be kidding...

lol no. We're discussing cosmetic customization right?

Of course I care somehwat about the looks of my character but as the game is in First Person (I prefer that view for immersion). I don't often study my own character. Houses customization on the other hand. I spent sooo many hours in past games filling houses with nice looking gear, trying to make them beautiful. In Oblivion it was cool being able to go to a shop-keeper and buy upgrades to houses you own, but it was quite simply done and it could be improved upon in Skyrim.

If you wanted it, it is possible, for me Elder Scrolls is all about customization, I am not trying to bash you just saying that customizing is one of my main draws to the game and I make several characters and roleplay them all so thiings like this matter to me big time... :teehee:

No offense taken :) It's an opinion poll at the end of the day and of course there's going to be differing ones. It makes no difference to me, but if it keeps people happy then I say go for it  It's not like having the options will somehow detract from my gaming experience - it's one of those "don't want then it don't use it" things I reckon. I doubt a dev will look at the thread and think "well, if ChineapplePunk isn't fussed, then what's the point?" lol

Someone mentioned hooded cloaks on another thread. I would certainly love to be able to wear that over light armor.

My dream is to be able to change the color of Glass Armor from green to dark blue.

I'm all for more customization - if it doesn't look awkward. Morrowind had a ton of armor slots, but everything looked so strange because of the massive gaps you had between segments.

I'd settle for Oblivion's slots, but give me more armor types. I still miss Bonemold from Morrowind, which had the neatest appearance, IMO.

The highest level of complexity and realism (without conflicting one with another) always makes the game better.

I'd like to change my face the way I want to, but I'd also like to apply facepaint, facial hair, braids, scars and maybe piercings.

I would love to see the customization that was in Morrowind, it makes characters look much more different. I could have a warrior that wears full Ebony armour, and another that wears full Ebony armour but with a robe over it, and they would look different and feel like totally different characters, adding to the gameplay/immersion experience.

In Oblivion, technically every NPC had a different face than yours. However,I think Morrowind's NPC's felt more unique even though you could find exactly the same face you were using.

This was due to the amount of different items and customization options I believe. So,it's very very very important.
