Hello guys and girls!

After having abit of a trouble installing this game Fallout 3 on Windows 7 64bits.

I have tried many solutions and installing and reinstalling.

• Uninstall everything
  
• Download GamesForWindows Client - http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-US/Download/
  
• Install the game
  
• Install the patch 1.7 UK or US - http://fallout.gamesas.com/eng/downloads/updates.php
  
• Find the fallout3.exe and make some changes in the compability
  
• C:\Games\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3 (this is where it is placed under my OS)
  
• Disable visual themes
  
• Disable desktop composition
  
• Disable display scaling on high dpi settings
  
• Run this program as an administrator

The games for windows client you will need to fix this problem:
"The ordinal 5360 could not be located in the dynamic link library xlive.dll"

Hopefully will the compability changes in the fallout3 file help you guys also out.

Other shoot could be to set the windows coloring to Windows7 Basic.

Hope you manage to fix this. It did at least help me, when i upgraded to the latest patch 1.7.
