Concerning Freezing with The Pitt

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 6:03 am

Since The Pitt went up on LIVE last week, we've received feedback that some folks were experiencing freezing issues while trying to access The Pitt. We're working with Microsoft to get a version of The Pitt up that corrects the aforementioned freezing issue. Once the content is up and available, we'll let you know.

We'd like to thank all our fans who generously and methodically reported what they were seeing on our official forums, via email and on this blog. This data was immensely helpful in tracking down these issues.

Thanks again to everyone for their support, patience and feedback.

You might notice elsewhere, that the update is up on Xbox LIVE. As soon as I have confirmation it's up for Games for Windows LIVE, I'll let you know.

With the new version of The Pitt on Games for Windows LIVE, you can take the following steps to remove the old DLC and get the new version.

1) Load the Games for Windows LIVE Client.
2) Within the Client, select the "My Media" tab. From there, find "The Pitt" and delete it by clicking on the "X." (note: make sure Fallout 3 is not running, you may not be able to delete the content.
3) Go to the Marketplace tab. Once there, on the left-hand side, select "Add-Ons." From there, you should be able to locate The Pitt and download it again at no charge.
