When I was watching the VGA's with my Father, I kept telling him.

"When the heck are they gonna make Elder Scrolls 5!!! We've waited 4-5 years!!!"

So as soon as Todd Howard came up to stage, I knew what was happening.

I was so happy I went right onto the website to pre-order, but You couldn't at the time :(

So now that it's announced, I've been checking Game Informer at least 3 times a day for new info. I've done this with Halo:Reach, And I can honestly say I regret looking up info for that over-hyped game, But I did this with TES4 and it sure as heck delivered!

Was anyone else feeling this way when they were watching the VGA's?

I tuned into the VGAs by accident...truly did not expect what happened to happen. Saw those monks, thought I recognized Todd...and my mouth fell open, my heart pounded and I screamed "Is this really be happening." :twirl:

Man...not trying to be rude at all, but your really late :P

I'm sure theres a topic about this somewhere...

To say something related to the thread, when I was watching a stream of the VGA's and I heard "...the elder scrolls told of their return" I screamed like a little girl. I was shaking the rest of the night :D

Well I knew TES V would come eventually, but I had no idea BGS would reveal it at the VGAs. I was just waiting for the ME3 and BAC trailers. Definitely though, when Todd walked on the stage, it was clear what was about to transpire.

Oh, that was fun in my case. I'd had a conversation about Morrowind just before, so I got nostalgic, went on a TES group on the local Facebook anologue and saw a video named The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. My first thought was like "Damn, another stupid fake again :verymad: " and I got ready to kill that people with fire, but then I heard the words "Elder Scrolls told of their return" and "Oblivion opened"... And then I had to clean my chair

Btw that was the day when it was anounced :trophy:

I did not watch the awards, but when I first saw the thread here that ran down Skyrims confirmed features(Jan 8th, I think, the day the scans hit the net). I was so happy, I got a rush that lasted about 10 mins. I was telling my cat how happy daddy is that his game is going to be so good.

The Skyrim announcement of the VGAs was really the only thing to make me excited. Uncharted 3 I knew was coming - same with quite a few others. But I had no idea that Todd was going to announce TES:V.
