I did the quest " the killing fields" and both sons died so I never got the reward , this happened about 40 hours ago in game time, after every level up I go there to take all the vegetables and make potions to sell and mainly to boost my int at the next level up.
Last time I went there I didn't know if the vegetables had grown back so I was looking on the floor and was clicking away grabbing all the stuff, as they had grown back and then suddenly looked up and one of the sons is standing up with his arms out as if he's been crucified hovering off the ground a little too scared the [censored] out of me first time lol

Shot em with an arrow and they drop but when I go back their both crucified in mid air :/

Maybe there's Necromancers around. :tongue:
This game does do funny things sometimes and that does sound creepy.

Its a bug. They are returning to the Default pose for their skeletons for the Havok (physics) Engine.

Yeah this game does some trippy stuff. Ive seen NPCs kill each other out of the blue, been randomly attacked too.

Oh yeah, I've recorded a video of something just as freaky going on.. I'll see if I can upload it to Youtube...

That occasional "crucified" pose is a known feature of the game.

But it can be really creepy too!

Particularly if your not expecting it. And in particular if you might feel responsible for the sons' death. It's kind of like they are haunting your character oo:



Once I was walking down from Azzan's office in the Anvil Fighters Guildhall and heard Sten the Ugly groan and drop dead for no apparent reason.

The only way to fix that up is to knock them down.

I would suggest an exorcism

that's some creepy stuff :/
