Help with Ayleid Steps

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 8:25 pm

I am stuck on my search for the Talos Bridge Hideout part. I've looked for the step where it says and had to use the spoiler but I still cannot find it. Can anyone PM me the location on a map?

Is the mod installed right? I don't know how anyone could possibly describe it better then the spoilers.txt already does.

I used the spoilers.txt and still couldn't find the step either. Went into the CS and found it. I use Better Cites and it seems to be buried under some stones and when I tried to raise it to a usable level it would continually end up in a wall. I think this is a possible problem using the two together. If you can't find the stepping stone then you can do the "coc" thing. Open console and type in "coc ssTalosBridgeHideout", naturally without the quotes. This prob needs to be in Cheats section but is still possible problem between the mods.

I use Better Cities and Unique Landscapes and didn't have a problem...

Spoiler
It should be right beside the wall outside of Cheydinhal, just circle the city. If you still can't find it, then maybe you have another mod that conflicts? Do you have anything the alters the landscape around Cheydinhal?

I don't have anything that alters the area around there.

Good idea. And when you thus arrive in the hideout a mapmarker will be added for the entrance step. Try fast traveling to it, then look around for the stepstone.
