Dual Wielding controls?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 10:36 am

I play on a PS3, and imo it would be waayy funner to attack with Dual wielding by using L1 and R1.
I would love to Dual Wield with 2 Daggers and use L1 to attack with my left Dagger and R1 to attack with my right, for me it'd be really fun :D
Dunno how this would work for PC users though :S

Consider we know sheild bash is getting more attention will that mean primary will be attack for sheild or will shields have block still mapped to L1 and have bash as L2

maybe its the same with attack and block but you attack with both/ faster at the same time as you would be just pressing left mouse. so pretty much a normal attack would be a x slash or something along those lines.

Most likely it will be just like it was in Oblivion, right will affect the right hand and left will affect the left hand.

Also "it would be way more fun" not "way funner". Normally I'm not a grammar freak but funner just erks me

They couldn't get away with that because you can wield a weapon and magic at the same time.

I'm thinking they will have two 'hand" buttons, one for each hand and holding down a third button will change the function of each of the "hand" buttons.

For instance there will be two "hand" buttons that sheath and unsheath by default.

Holding down an attack button will change the function of the "hand" buttons to attack.

Holding down a block button will change the function of the "hand" buttons to block.

What i suggested will work for the console because it's the same number of buttons.

Attack + Block + Cast + Ready/Resheath Weapon = 4 buttons

Left Hand + Right Hand + Attack + Block = 4 buttons

I assume this would apply to the PS3 as well

on other control topic ... i hope we dont have issues with the damned DPad on the 360

Magic equips like a weapon now so attack will activate your equipped spells.

What he said.

I'm guessing that the right trigger and left trigger will be for attacking, and that the bumpers will be used to block.

If they don't have a right hand block/left hand block, then I imagine that one of the bumpers will be for blocking, and the other one will be for dragon shouts.
