I think this is actually a good feature to help the balance of this game, because I am 100% in the balancing skills camp. I HATE it when one skill or bunch of skills is much more/less powerful than another. And now, this addition actually helps the combat skills, because (assuming the weapon skills are roughly the same) there is now a purpose in choosing more than one weapon style. Particularly if the blunts are significantly different in what they can do to the blades, you can wield one of each, using both their advantages and training both their skills at once. In Oblivion, there was no point inbeing a knight when you would never find use for both of them because you only fought with one at a time and they had very similar advantages.
So... discuss.
Wait...dual wielding has been confirmed? Are you [censored] serious?
I'm going to hold off untill i find a confirmation, but if it turns out to be the case, then i wil seriously cry tears of joy.
EDIT: Oh, so someone mentioned the skill "One handed weapons" and that means dual wielding? No, it doesn't.
We had one handed weapons in Oblivion, they were called swords, normally worn with sheilds. That does not do anything to confirm dual wielding. Too bad, I'd love to see it as a feature, but there seems there's no hard evidence of it, so ir etract my earlier statement, allthough the tears of joy part would be true if it actually was confirmed at some point.
