this is my first tiny mod and as most of the mods on planetelderscrolls seem to have topics here, i just wanted to to the same for it, so:

TITLE: Hopesfire Torch

PURPOSE: Adds a Trueflame-like script (actually copied the script and
the light source and did some renaming) to Hopesfire, it's
twinblade. Now both of them act as a torch when drawn (see
screenshots for comparison).

INSTALLATION: If you use BTB's game improvements (or at least his equipment
plugin), use the "Hopesfire Torch BTB compatible.esp" file,
otherwise just the "Hopesfire Torch.esp". Do not use both of
them (no harm in that, but they will overwriting each other,
depending on load order). Copy the .esp to your "Data Files"
folder and tick the box in the Data Files menu of the launcher.
Now you can play.

UNINSTALLATION: Just untick the .esp or delete the .esp from Data Files folder.

CONFLICTS: Added .esp for BTB's game improvements equipment plugin. Mods
which change the Hopesfire Weapon within an .esp will conflict
with this mod. If you want to use it with some mod, just tell
me and i can do some compatibility work (if you cannot manage
that for yourself ;D).

LEGAL STUFF: As this is a very simple mod that took me like 20 minutes
(mainly for selecting the right color for the light source), I
don't care whatever you do with it as long as you have fun =)

CLEANED: with testool or enchanted editor. can't remember.

Cool, I'm going to get this because I liked this blade more than the other but didn't want to give up my torch. Did you get that armour for yourself or is that a mod to get his armour?

beware of the buggyness imported from trueflame though (and don't blame me for that i just copied the script. maybe, in the distant future, i will try to improve both scripts...)

the armor is almalexia armor, taken from plangkye's http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7387 Mod (although with a few private adjustments; the sandals, left bracer and shield aren't included in that mod, nor the enchantments on the stuff ;D)

Does this torch sword work in caves as well?

yes, it should work in caves as well. it behaves just like the trueflame
