mALX1: It is not necessarily that Delphine is bad at making tea. Teresa is not really a tea drinker to begin with, and I picture Delphine as one of those hard-core tea-enthusiasts who goes for the real extreme stuff.
hauteecole rider: A chickterlude? I can write action, but I prefer writing that emphasizes people, rather than chopping people up, so as you have no doubt already seen, one can expect lots of chickterludes from me. BTW, the next chapter features Pappy in its first scene. That will probably be sometime late next week.
Editorials noted and fixed. Thanks for the watchful eye!
Acaeditor: Thank you Acadian. I try to focus on the action between Teresa's ears rather than outside of them.
And thank you for finding that leftover "n" for me.
treydog: Maybe that is the real reason for Reman being so upset with Daenlin? The wood elf has been slipping him willow bark all these years?
Teresa's mind, somewhat confused? Never! She knows exactly what she wants, and what to do to get it, except when she does not...
The expansion of the alchemy topic resulted from two things. First, in the game you always know what every potion is that you come across, and can always easily keep track of the 80+ potions in your inventory. I needed some plausible way for people to know what is in those pink and green bottles. I also wanted to finally clearly show the level of Teresa's alchemical talent. Which is extremely good in a narrow range of potions, and then woefully lacking in everything else. The direct result of her her lack of any formal training.
