About addiction, it needs to last. 2 weeks is not enough, I'm addicted to nicotine and if I was to cut off for two weeks, I would stil be addicted near the end, recovery like that should take longer and be hard, especially if you go cold turkey. An apothecary could speed up the process or cure you instantly like the doctors n Fallout, but trying to lose the habit on your own should be very difficult.
I remember going two weeks without snus in France, because the nicotine level is six times higher than a cigarette they won't allow sale of it there. I was basically drunk the entire time to cope, I bought a few bottles of wine, and I had a buzz going for two weeks straight. The vacation was lovely, but I was still miserable because I wasn't getting my fix, and i refuse to smoke.
