Hiding Places

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 5:38 am

So I recently played Assassin's Creed and I loved how you could jump into a haystack to get back to a non-hostile situation. I'd think it would be cool that if in Skyrim you could flee your attackers and hide in a NPC's house that likes you (Radiant AI) or something just to not get attacked while they look for you. When they have their backs turned you just sneak out of the haystack and hope you aren't seen again.

No. Because when I get out of the haystack and walk around town they should recognize me again and come after me.

Running away is resisting in a sense.

I like the idea, but i'm probably just saying that because i LOVED the recent assassins creed. I'd rather not get the bounty at all, yes?

Love/hate? No.

Like? Maybe...

I dunno about making the whole town non-hostile, which could make it too easy to get away with anything, but just being able to find a place to hide while they’re searching for you might be cool.

Not haystacks and stuff, but maybe if you took a turn down an ally and went in a small shack/outhouse/naive friends house you could hide in there until they lose track of you. Like in Oblivion if you could run and hide fast enough. I mean, if the "whole town" is after you, odds are they will remember your face. I really think it would be better to use hiding places as a way to "escape" pursuers, not cause amnesia via hay.

I would be down with that, it would be pretty cool for a hideout for thieves like in the thieves guild

Thread edited. With Radiant AI I think if a NPC had enough respect for you then they should let you take a break at their house. When your attackers come they'll interrogate the house's owner (the NPC) for a little andt hen leave to where the NPC says you can get out. But you still have to make a cautious escape but the attackers will be paying less attention.
