Cowardly Slaughterfish

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 6:53 pm

So I killed a bunch of Slaughterfish for this guy in Wawner (sp) and they were not too tough. But this latest one I went after swam away after I chopped his health down to about 10%. Now I can't catch the little guy :swear:
What do I do now??

Chase it :P

No, seriously. I don't remember that quest too much, can you just kill another random slaughterfish?

I would be more than happy to kill a pile of those adorable scaly creatures, but I can't find any! And I have been swimming so much, my armor is getting all wrinkly

I think I'll just go adventuring somewhere else for a while, maybe the fish will forget about me after a few days.

IIRC, the fish from that quest respawn every few minutes or so. If you use a good Detect Life spell, you should be able to locate some of the others.

If your talking about the quest in weye, with the rumare slaughterfish, they do not respawn. I got up to 6 scales, left for an in game week pretty much, came back, and they hadnt respawned. I had to resort to using console commands to finish the quest, because there were only 6 fish in the entire lake.

I was able to nab 10 of them before this one started running away from me. I will shop around for a detect life spell.

I've got a detect life ring. :hubbahubba:

I'd recommend just searching other lakes or hooking up with the giant one during the thieves guild quests. :toughninja:

Ooooh, aren't you special! I am only a few hours real-time into the game so far, so I have not done a lot of exploring or shopping to get a ring like that. I will work on other quests for a while, and check any other lakes I find.

Thanks for all the suggestions folks.

Nailed that fish and his buddy too :toughninja:
Now I have a very special ring :celebration:

That lake is the only place they appear and I think they appear only one at a time. I just did that quest not long ago and detect life was a great help. I did get a disease while doing that quest so you might want to have a cure disease potion or spell handy too.

Gratz on completion. I was posting this as you were posting your completion update.
