Four Months Ago

''We found him!'' Davian approached Brutuse in the courtyard of Castle Bravil. The night sky shined with many starts. The crimson moon was brighter then normal. Davian smiled, gesutring Brutuse toward the door of the barracks.
''The map. With the help of some Khajiit scouts, and Breton mages, we managed to chart where the rogue mage is heading.'' The nord and wood elf walked into the barracks, many Bravil guards at work all over the place. A Argonian in steel armor with the exception of a helm walked up to them, ''Ahh Captain Brutuse.'' He hissed, ''You will be satisfied I think. Spear-in-Heads' is at your service.
Brutuse nodded, ''Where is he?''. The argonian motioned Brutuse to follow him, turning around and walking toward a wooden table with a map of Cyrodil on it. The map had three lines. One black, one red, and one purple. Brutuse recognised the color code. Black for Dark Brotherhood's leader. Red for the supposed location of the Gray Fox. And the purple line, was the course that this rogue mage had taken.
''As you can see,'' Spear-in-Heads' hissed, ''He has traveled to some Aylied ruin in Blackwood. We beleive he may be staying there for awhile.'' Brutuse nodded.
''If thats the case. We are going to find him, and we are going to bring him to justice.

(( Mr.Bush, what do you plan to do about Katrina? ''We are gonna find her, and we are gonna bring her to justice!'' ))

***

Jerek meditated in the middle of a great hall. Three Aylied Chandelliors lit the area with blue light, as he drained the magicka of Welknyd Stones. The Magicka flowed into his hands, empowering him with great amounts of magicka that would last him a while. He let it all flow through his body. The Welkynyd stones dimmed out as the last of the Magicka was drained from them. Slowly, the Magic-Eater rose, smiling. He cracked his neck as he began to step toward the door, when he heard somthing moving. Bringing a detect life spell upon him, he could see the outline of many people. Sighing, the Altmer activated a Chamelon spell on himself.
''Here we go again...''
***
Brutuse and his troops moved silently through the halls, Davian and Spear-in-Heads following him. Armor clanked as they moved through the halls of the aylied ruin, blades shining. Brutuse made a signal with his hand motioning his troops to stop. Looking around the hall, he could see many shadows moving about. He could hear somthing squishy. Squishy.. Zombies! Making a few more hand signals, telling his troops to get in a defencive position, he knelt down, raising his blade. He could hear archers preparing there arrows. Hear shields being raised. Then to his horror, about a dozen Daedroth Warriors came charging forth!
''Get out of the way!'' He leaped behind a pillar as three of them tackled at the group! Arrows wizzed past him, debri bursting all over the place! Brutuse could hear his men yelling out in pain, fear , or rage. Davian ran back into a hall, pursued by one Daedroth!

Davian raises his dwemer bow, a arrow already attached! The enourmous Daedroth seemed to not be able to fit into the tunnel, its jaws chomping air!
''Wait for it,'' Davian whispered to himself, ''Wait for it, wait for it. NOW!'' He let go of the string, sending a arrow flying directly into the Daedroths mouth!
Blood splattered all over the wall as the beast groaned, falling back with a loud thump. Davian let out a sigh of relief, but then remembered that the job wasnt done yet.

Spear-in-Head's was busy helping his own troops! Many argonians in leather armor, each of them holding steel spears! Spear-in-Head's begin to dash forward, his spear gripped in his left hand, his tail flapping around! Letting out a battle cry, he leaped from the stairs, toward a Daedroth that was about to rip a orc in half!
''Die you giant lizard!'' The argonian screamed, flinging his spear into the Daedroths back! Landing on his hands, he rolled out of the way as the Daedroth collapsed.
''You ok?'' The argonian asked the orc. The orc nodded, his steel armor shining in the Aylied hall. Then the orcs face looked horrified!
''Look out!'' Spear-in-Head's raised a questioning brow, but suddenly found himself being flung into a wall! The last thing he heard was the sound of bones cracking. Then he went into the void.

Brutuse ran from behind the pillar, raising his blade as he let out a battlecry! He charged toward the remaining three Daedroth, flinging his blade into ones throat.
''For Bravil!''

bumping for the sake of bumping is considered rude it takes attention away from actual posts or fanfics posting new chapters.

If I may suggest for now, and in your future works, on your use of the ellipses.

Few people make use of the ellipses in their work on these boards, as most follow Frodo's opinion that they are worthless. I, however, use them. But there is a difference between using, and abusing. You, my good sir, have abused.

I use ellipses primarily for two reasons; to emphasis a pause in character thought or speech that is longer than average for, say, a period. But I also use it for the purpose of brief suspense, on RARE occasions. The ellipse drags out the reader's attention for just a millisecond longer than a simple period (at least it has that effect on me...) and I find this brief pause in words to be effective for certain emotional portrayals in character interaction. Especially the depressive moments, or when their sentence falls short as they wander into thoughts.

I used to overuse ellipses like yourself, but it is much better to use them less. Good job on improving the length though.

Brutuse stomped down the steps of the Aylied chamber, looking over the bodies of both, his comrades, and his foes. A pool of blood could be seen in the middle of the room, where the few soldiers that survived were dragging the corpses of the Daedroth Warriors into a pile. Letting out a roar of rage, Brutuse grabbed a soldier that was walking by him by the arm and turned him, so that they were face to face.

''Where is Davian and the rangers?" Brutuse snapped harshly, his anger obvious in his voice.

The soldier shook a little, then whispered, ''They went into the forest, to see if they can find any trail."

Brutuse let go of the soldier, growling as he walked toward the exit halls.

***

Davian let out a sigh, bent down in the dark woods. The wood elf could not get any scent, nor trail, of his prey. His three rangers, each one in red leather with a brown hood over there head, shook there heads as they pulled out some water from there belt.

''Damn.'' Davian muttered to himself. Brutuse was not going to like this one bit.

***

Jerek ran through the woods, panting heavily. He could feel rain beggining to fall, but it mattered not to him, for the Magic-Eater only seeked power. And that lust for power, would have no end. Collapsing on his knees, Jerek gripped his head , digging his nails into it.

A voice echoed in the back of his mind, torturing the Altmer with the truth.

No end. Forever lust. Forever bound to power. Forever, thow shall be exiled from all eyes.

''Shutup!'' Jerek roared, smashing his fist on the grassy ground, only to have a massive shock of lightning be returned.

No end. You are now, what you have sewn. You are, a parasite, and power is your blood.

''No....no!'' Jerek screamed, the trees around him becoming ablaze as a circle of fire formed around him! ''Yes....Yes I am.'' Jerek suddenly said, slowly rising.
''Im a monster.'' He looked his hand over, turning it here and there, ''And everything else, is a wanna-be hero.'' The Altmer flung a red lightning bolt at a large oak tree infront of him, watching as it snapped in half!

''I am Terror, and they are fearful! I am-'' Jerek came to a pause, looking the destruction around him over. ''I am Jerek. I am a Magic-Eater. And I do not play by rules.'' The Altmer said to himself, begginin to walk through the flames.

Chapter III- The Fringe.

Present Day. Cyrodil.

Brutuse set his arm on a tree, panting for breath. He had run for his life, and yet, he knew deep down that he was doomed. The screams of Davian seemed to echo in his ears, haunting him for the very little left of his life.

''Poor, poor Brutuse.'' A voice said calmy above the Nord. Looking up, Brutuse's eyes widened in horror as he saw Jerek, sitting calmy on a tree branch. ''Awww?Surprised to see me?" Jerek said calmly, suddenly appearing infront of Brutuse. The Altmer grabbed Brutuse by the neck and slammed him into the tree.

''But, dont worry. You have no value to me, other then your removal.'' The Magic-Eaters left hand began to crackle with lightining. Brutuse tried to scream, but no words came out.

''Killed him. I killed him.'' Berick said to himself, walking down the hill. In the distance, he could see small lights in the distance, along with some movement. The imperial sighed wearily, blindly. He could not return to his world, not now. He thought to himself as he walked. Im going to find Sheogorath, and I am going to end this before somone else gets hurt. This was a promise, that the young Imperial was unaware of, would mold him into somthing far greater then the most fearsome of monsters.

***

Jerek walked out of the forest, now gazing upon the Niben Lake. In the distance, he could see a portal shining a bright blue.

''I sure could use a vacation.'' The Altmer joked to himself, activating a water walking spell upon himself.Stepping onto the waters of the lake, which seemed to crackle with electricity at the touch of his foot, the Altmer headed toward the portal.

***

''My son, you are one of the greatest hunters among our tribe." Two Nords stood on top a mountain, looking up at the red moon, which was fairly close to the white moon on this particular night. Each Nord was covered in Bear Skin, with the exception of there heads. The Nord on the left's hair was fairly gray, while the Nord on the right's was more black. Behind them, a village of Nords, wooden houses.

''But, you deserve more then just hunter.'' The Nord on the left spoke, looking down at a frozen lake. ''You have the blood of a barbarian, and the strength. Come, my son." The eldery Nord gestured for his son to follow him as he headed toward a cabin. Opening it, he let his son enter first, then shut the door as he entered.

''As you may know, my son, the Island is being slaughtered by those Legion Mongrels. But we of the Skaal, will not stand and watch as it happens.'' The Nordic son nodded, a strand of hair dangling on his pale face.

''Let me tell you a story.''

On a cold dark night, three men came to a Skaal Village. They announced that they would soon be setting up a city on the sacred Island. The Skaal were displeased with such a act, for if such a city was allowed to be built, then the wildlife would die. In response to this, a Nordic Barbarian lord declared that he would gather a band of warriors, to travel to there fortress in the southern part, and lay waste to there Millitary Hold. Afterwards, the group would force the colonies off. And so, the following morning, warriors, hunters, and barbarians gathered in the center of town, preparing for departure. They would challenge many trials, but if they loved there land, they would overcome all!

''Margoth, my son.'' The Elderly Nord looked down upon his son, ''By spear and bone, bring balance back to our home.'' The son nodded.

"Barbarian Lord, Orgoth Wolfclaw shall be leading you against the imperials. Now get some rest, you will need it.'' Margoth nodded, lying down. Slowly, he drifted to sleep. The sound of a wolf howling could be heard amongst the Skaal Village.

***

Berick walked into town, looking around. The Imperial needed sleep, and he was determined not to sleep where the rain poured. Spotting a sign with a moon on it, he walked into the cabin.

What came in view was rather odd. A wood elven woman with her soldiers sagged, and her head bent, was snoring behind the counter. Looking behind her, Berick could see a key ring, with only one key. Pulling out twenty Septims, he set them on the counter, wondering to himself if his worlds money was worth anything here. Then again, Haskill did say that people from his world were isolated in the Fringe, because of some Gatekeeper. So Berick highly doubted that they had any other kind of currency in The Fringe.

Taking the key as he headed near the stairs, Berik walked up to the last door and opened it.

''WHO ARE YOU!" The voice of a Western Dunmer Woman shoute at him, "Who let you in here?"

Berick's right hand turned into a fist for a few seconds, but the Imperial thought to himself. Im in a town of people who have never even seen me before. Maybe I should not go punching every crazy person I see here.

''I...I had the wrong room mam. Pardon me." Berick slowly closed the door slowly, slapping himself on the head. How could he have been so stupid, not to try the key out first.

Walking to the other door, he set the key in the hole and turned it. A click responded, and Berick pushed the door open. Sighing, he closed the door and slid the lock back in place. Stripping out of his armor, he looked the bed over before sliding into it. Then, he drifted to sleep.

***

Jerick smiled his feet touching ground finally. He took notice of the strange plants in the area, and the dark grass. Walking up the small hill on the small island, he took note of two others there. One, a Khajiit, another, a imperial. A imperial legion soldier.

Jerek silently walked toward the portal, when suddenly.

"YOU!" The voice of the imperial soldier shouted, "Your Jerek! Your wanted for... for all kinds of things!" Jerek sighed, slowly turning to face the soldier. He could see the Khajiit crouching as he did so.

"You just had to make it difficult, didnt you?" Jerek said, raising his hand.

Jerek sighed, looking the two corpses over. None of them had magical use, he thought to himself, just a waste of time. Walking into the blue gate, the Altmer's vision began to blur.

When he reached the other side, he was greeted by the massive universe of stars that lay in the sky. Ahh. This is the place I can go to for vacation.

Suddenly, Jerek collapsed on his knees, ''Aghhh! What...Whats happening?" He asked himself just before letting out a roar of pain as his eyes glowed so bright, it seemed he only had the sockets! The gate behind him began to shimmer, magical energy crackling from it! A massive force of telepathy burst from Jerek, knocking the chair, metronome, book, and corpse far away! From a birds eye view, you would be able to see the grass moving so clearly!

Then, just as it began, it had stopped. Jerek gripped his head tightly, his eyes massively soar from the bright flash of light.

''The...The hell was that?" Jerek questioned himself.

***

Bericks eyes jolted open, somthing seeming amiss. Suddenly, he felt himself, by some force, be pushed off his bed and slammed into the wall! The bed itself moved a couple feet away from its original position, but thankfully did not crush Berick. The Imperials blade came soaring toward his head, but found itself in a wall as Berick ducked!

''To close." He said to himself, his body seeming to no longer be pushed. Groaning, the Imperial pushed himself up, rubbing his back. He could hear the Dunmer woman having a tantraum in the other room.

"Stupid outsiders!" Her voice shrieked, "How dare they!"

Sighing, Berick lied back down on his bed, deciding he would investigate tommorow.

***

The room was well lit, with the strangest of lights. On the right, they were a normal color, but on the left, they were a more of a green-blue color. Water tricked through holes. A carpet with a black right side, and red left side was visible on the floor. A massive tree, with strange red fruits growing on it, was visible behind a fountain, that lay behind a throne.

Sitting in that throne, was a elderly man. No, not man. More of a god. A mad god. A white goatee that matched his white hair, made up the facial hair futures. But, unlike most old people, he had no wrinkles. He only had a smile on his face, that of a young child when you give them a new toy they have wanted for years.

His eyes were a strange yellow, with queer black dots around them.

"Haskill!" The beardy man chirped, "Bring meh my list!"

Haskill walked down the steps, seeming to magically appear, "Sir, which list?"

The beardy man rubbed his chin, then clapped his hands, "Scratch that! Bring me, my prisoner! I want some fun!"

Haskill sighed dully, "It shall be done, Lord Sheogorath."

''Wonderful! Now for some CHEESE!"

A few minutes later, Haskill returned, followed by two guards holding a bearded Breton.

"Wonderful Haskill!" Sheogorath exclaimed, a cheery look on his face. Smiling as the Breton was tossed on the ground before him, Sheogorath spoke, still in a cheery voice.

"Mr.Competition, in the name of my goatee, blah blah blah, EXECUTION!" Sheogorath cast a spell on the Breton, then suddenly, the Breton was gone.

Clapping, Sheogorath snapped his fingers to reveal a birds eye view of a alter ontop a hill near a city. Orange landscape could be seen, with livly mushroom trees. Suddenly, the Breton could be seen falling down, toward the altar.

''Thats gonna leave a mark!" shouted Sheogorath as the Breton hit the altar.

"Yes, it is." Haskill said dully.

***

Jerek walked into town, looking around. He decided he would have to borrow somonones house, so walking up to a un-lit house, he cast a spell of Ondusi's Key, upon the lock. Opening the door, he then cast a Lock Jam spell on it, to prevent any disturbances. Looking the room over, he could see a bed already. Walking over to it, and lying down on it, he slowly went to sleep.

Ok, why is it that when I type somthing, it appears differently when its posted? It kinda screws up my paragraphs. Btw, what do you all think of me making this story take place in more then just the Shivering Isles? I mean, that will be the main setting, but there will be side stories here and there.

Ok doubble posting (out side of new chapters) is bad, don't. However the forum software hates paragrahs so if you copy from a word document suspect to have to go hit enter alot. In addition it dislikes tabbing so just doublle space between paragraphs.

This chapter is just a little rink-a-dink to explain some things. And if you have been reading some of my other Fan-fics, you may have recognised a character :D

Black Hand, my good old friend! (he's not old, I just haven't seen him since a long time ago at Chorrol.) How good to see you and read more of your great suspenseful fiction. And I did feel that I recognized some of these characters from previous writings or at least their names sounded familiar. OK ... what are elipses? And also, I gotta ask - why are you guys giving Blackie such a hard time about his presentation format and bumping? I realize the use of Word Document is meant to be helpful but if more explanation is needed, it is needed.

Nilloc, you ask me why I haven't started a WIP thread here yet and it is for this very piciune and prodding nature of this place that I won't do it until I can do it right. I apologize Black Hand, I realize that sentence doesn't belong in your fiction thread really; but I'm just trying to point out that this place is too picky and not appreciative enough of art. And I'd also like to say that Black Hand wrote a story for me called 'A Spellsword Fury: The Tale of Ibis Raze' and I will be eternally grateful for that! Great to see you again, BH and you create just the way you need to.

Meanwhile in Vivec, many things were beggining to unfold.

A Breton woman stood at the top of a Canton, observing the movement of the citisens. Behind her, was no dome, but a trapdoor.

"Vivec city." A voice boomed behind her, causing her to jump a little, "City of light, city of magic!"

Smirking lightly, she turned around recognising the voice of her master, a elderly Dunmer. "Hello Kirith." she said with a smile,
the smile being just a mask of her true emotions. She wore a simple black suit, her hair a simple blonde. But, she was not simple at all.

Her eyes were a luminous yellow, and many throwing knives were visible on her belt. A katana could be seen in a sheath strapped to her back.

The elderly Dunmer let out a sigh, gazing up at the two moons in the sky. Gray hair was visible on the top of his head, and he had only a black robe on.

His eyes were gray as the white moon itself. "The head has another job for you. It involves, a long trip."

The Breton woman let out a sigh, "Lovely" she said to herself, "Well, what does the head request?"

Kirith shuffled in the pocket of his robe, then pulled out a sealed envolope, "Blood of a potential enemy."

Taking the envelope, the Breton woman slid a knife out of her belt and used it to cut the letter open.

"This?" The Breton woman stated, "Why, he is just a Imperial! Fighters guild no less!"

The elderly Dunmer nodded, "A job is a job, my apprentice." he stated, "We do them, we get rewarded."

"But,'' the Breton began to speak, "shouldnt we be eliminating bigger threats? What about the Mora-"

"Sarah, '' Kirith interruped, "You know as well as I do that the Morag Tong barely pose any threat. We have wiped out there leader, there base here!"

Sarah bowed her head, "Would if they come back? For revenge? Or worse, the Dark Brotherhood."

Kirith set a wrinkly hand on her cheek,"Then we will kill them. All of them. Until then, proceed with the assignment that has been given to you.
All we know is; that the target is working in the Fighters Guild Base at Bravil."

Sarah nodded, "Any fast way to transport?"

Kirith smiled, "Yes,'' the old man said, "speak to Dorian. He can provide you a spell that will take you to the Bravil Mages Guild."

Nodding, Sarah walked to the trapdoor, and opened it. She then climbed on down.

***

Berick awoke at the sound of screaming.

"The Gatekeeper! A band of travellers are going to try to kill it!" A voice shouted from outside his window! Slowly opening his eyes, Berick rolled out of bed.

"The hell?" He said to himself, walking out of his room in his brown clothing. ; Stepping down the stairs, he walked out of the inn to see two people talking to eachother." Walking up, he listened in on the conversation.

"I tried to warn them!" A Dunmer in a black leather suit said to a Redguard, in a red cloth ;suit.

The Redguard stated, ''They should of listened to me!" Berick raised a brow at this they?

"Travellers and there diseases!" the Dunmer replied. "Maybe they can make the gatekeeper sick!"

The Redguard laughed, "What ever! Lets go watch!" He began to run up a hill, with many rocks on the sides.

"As long as I dont get any germs on me!" The Dunmer replied, running after.

A couple questions to the readers.

1. Are you enjoying, or hating this?

2. Am I adding perhaps, to many characters?

3. Are there any other things I can do that will help my stories out?

4. Do a barrel roll!

5. Was my ''Sheogorath'' part amusing?

Please, be honest no matter how brutal it might be.

Crap.... I svck at this lol. Ahh well, still fun to make [censored] villains... or is that a WoW only thing. I might ditch this one, but make one with Jerek in it (Jerek is one of my favorite characters I have made in my entire rp life) , about the many factions of both Tamriel and Morrowind. It could be a three parter, sorta like a TV series. I would try to get from ten minutes to a hours worth of reading in every week, (Getting my own laptop on my birthday.
Turning 13, so I can legally be on these forums now rofl. )The first part would be all the good guys and a couple bad guys starting out, then at the end they end up heading to Morrowind. The second part, will be very spookyish, alot of baddies, and the third part will be tragic, but a great ending to read. Of course, I would need to actually put ALOT more effort into it then I usually do with my fanfics, (You know what I mean, if you have read my previous sour attempts. Ill get it someday :D I got the imagination, just horrible describing skills. )

I would need you all to make sure that I dont screw it up, so no matter how harsh, you have to say the sad flaws about my fanfics, so I can fix them.

Also, it would help if I could get some describing tips, that seems to be the one thing I REALLY struggle with. And how to keep a decent storyline with the majority of characters I will have.

So, I guess that is that. Tell me if you like the idea, and I can probaly stew somthing up, as long as you all are keeping me in line.
