[REL] Serabul

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 12:48 pm

Serabul is a city Hlaalu mod, located just east of Vivec, and is home to Velanda Omani. I have spent a helluva long time developing this, and it has been through some tough testing, so there should be no bugs. I hope y'all enjoy this, my soul has gone into it. ^_^

Congratulations on the release! :celebration: I'm looking forward to playing this final version!
Ah, visiting Serabul... sauntering over the market place, admiring the seaside and the netches... trying to ignore the spirits for a while... also trying not to think of roaches... ;)

Edit: Well, that was refreshing. And now for the QUESTS.

Thank you for this, RellacFTW.
And for the thoroughness - the patches and walkthough!

I'm giving this a nice bump, and wondering if the author will come back. I downloaded this mod today, and I love it, but it has some bugs and conflicts that I figured I should bring up if the author comes back to the forum. :)

And it conflicts with Rethan Plantation, so we'll have to fix that ;)

[...] it has some bugs [...]

Bugs? :shocking: What did I overlook? (Just to prevent confusion: I'm not Serabul's creator, I was merely one of its beta testers.)

Well, not bugs persay, but just compatibility issues like with abot's Waterlife and Grass mods. But thise are easy fixes on the users end. And the other things I noticed were just minor nitpicks with lighting and landscaping and etc. :P

Hey, guys. I'm the creator of Serabul. RellacFTW. Decided that I'd grab a nice Daedric name while I could.

Don't worry, I'm still around, I just aint been quite as active as I once was. To be honest, not much thought went into this. Most of this was about what felt right and I just went with the flow. (apart from, of course, the bug testing and scripting  )

I'd be happy to look at any bugs and incompatabilities you may have found, though I warn you, I'm a tad rusty.

Hey, hey!

Since the author be here, now, I think I'll just take this opportunity to join in with the crowd of folks singing your praises. This was, hands down, one of the most 'authentic' original cities/towns/villages I have ever had the pleasure to wander through. Where others stand out for their size, or their beauty... this place stood out by blending in so well. It really -did- feel like it belonged in Morrowind all along.

It's hard to go wrong, there.

I downloaded this once, a while back... and I haven't played without it since.

I'm just downloading this :D Screens look really nice, it definitively looks like it's vanilla production and not some amateur mod! I'll make sure to vote once I try this out a bit in game

Wow, nice town with interesting quests. I intend to stick around and
explore although it does conflict with one of my houses, Telperion
treehouse. Thanks RellacFTW.

:cold:

My little baby is flourishing again.

I may create some more similar mods. Perhaps Redoran themed? Telvanni has been done to death. Just need to find a new town site. Hard part.
