How many times have you purchased Oblivion?

We pre-ordered two copies, overnight express. One copy was for me, one for Brash.

We decided to perform a little experiment with this. I ordered mine from Amazon and she ordered hers from EBGames. We took bets to see whose copy would arrive first. Hers arrived about 9:00 AM. Alas, mine did not arrive until noon. It was agony, watching her install the game first.

I bought 2: the collectors edition at release, and later on the GOTY version, both for the 360. Still have both.
I also have 2 versions of Morrowind (regular and GOTY), and will probably buy 2 for Skyrim as well, if they release a GOTY version.

2 copies. One collector's edition on release day, another one much later because I started playing again and wanted SI, and I seem to remember that at the time, the GOTY set with SI was the same price as the SI disc by itself.

I also have the KotN/DLC disc, plus Battlehorn which was purchased online.

my sig:

"Played (owned) Obivion on PC (twice) up to level: 45s, 50w and 40m.
Xbox 360 (twice and on two hard drives) : 30s, 45m, and 60w (with jail boosting)
PS3 (once this time) : 30w, 25s, and 11m (S=stealth, W=Warrior, m= mage)
+ 100s of ''failed'' characters (level 7 or less) Idk if i have played this game enough"

so 5 times

The first copies were both PC, first one broke. still own the second. I got the first one as a gift from my brother for my xbox, then the second one was a gift for my brother. Then i sold my xbox got a PS3 and of course had to get he game to play it there too. After that i went and sold my ps3 and bought a new xbox and have since been borrowing my brothers copy of Oblivion since he no longer plays... Looking back on all of this. I should have just stuck with the PC...

Once. First game on my PS3 and I still play it every now and again, that is evidence of quality. I should get round to buying the GOTY but I completed Shivering Isle on a friends PC so I have no incentive.

I bought it twice. I bought the CE for PC at launch. Around the time SI came out, I wasn't playing the game anymore so I didn't give it much thought. Later on, I started playing it again and wanted to try out SI but couldn't find a boxed copy in stores. So I just bought the GotY.

I have 30 copies of Oblivion. I bought it for PC on day 1. My PC could not run it so i went back to eb and bought a 360 and a copy of the collectors edition. Got the ps3 version when it came out. Got all 3 versions of goty. Currently i have 15 goty copies. 14 are still sealed as i only opened the pc version. I have 10 vanilla copies, 5 are ps3, 3 are 360, and 2 pc. I am obsessed with this game, everytime i see a copy at a store i feel like i want to buy it to add to my collection. I also have 2 kotn discs and 3 shivering isles discs. Obviously i did not pay full price for all these. I got a few as gifts from ppl who did not know i owned it and i bought a few for back up discs as i play it alot. I havent had to replace a ps3 disc yet. I also own 20 copies of morrowind also i have the free versions of arena and daggerfall on all 20 computers in my server room.

Four, but I'm including Shivering Isles.

- PC Oblivion (Spanish version - someone somehow thought that it would be a good idea to distribute the Spanish version in a country where people speak Portuguese).

- PC Oblivion (English version - it was really hard to find an English copy of the game; unfortunately, in one of my mod-induced reinstalls I couldn't use this copy anymore because the disc wouldn't work)

- PC Shivering Isles (Spanish version - bleh, I had to return to the Spanish version and bought the Spanish version of SI because of it)

- PS3 Oblivion GOTY (Yay! English version forever and ever!)
