I want the Van Buren Hoover Dam. :sadvaultboy:

I agree, I wish it was a settlement, and the fighting took place outside of it instead of right on top, because that could have worked.

There will never be a Van Buren remake. But Denver, The Reservation, etc. can all happen in a future game. I've said it many times before, but I really, really, want to see Denver because of how close I live to it. Would be great to be in familiar territory.

Fallout:New Vegas is basically Van burren,Ceasars legion, dog city metioned, arcade gannon, burned man,ncr/brotherhood war,new caanan jsut to name a few are all Van Burren,so no they coudn't remake it as we already know the whole plot of the game and such Obsidian will likely make another spin off after Fallout 4.

They used somethings from Van Buren and the things they did use they changed, updated to fit the new story, but I get what you are saying.

Van Buren really is the Fallout 3 that should have been. It was its cancellation that signaled and symbolized the downfall of Interplay, BIS, and Fallout as we knew it.

And I think Bethesda doing Van Buren would essentially be salting the wounds of the old fans.

Bethesda would never ever do Van Buren though. There's not a chance. They've said that "why would we finish someone elses work? There's no fun in that". Beside that, they would just mess it up. I'm happy with New Vegas and all the little things they put in there from Van Buren (even if it was changed a bit to fit the new story). Two things I do want to see in a future Fallout game or DLC for New Vegas are Dog City and the Reservation (although the story here could change, so it's not too similar to those loonies at the REPCONN test site.)

Lord. "Van Bern"? Really?

No, as it has been said, Van Buren is incompatible with alot of the current infrastructure present in New Vegas.
