OBMM failure

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 8:54 am

I'm installing all my Oblivion utilities before I start on my mods. I have Wrye Bash working and moved on to OBMM. First, the Timeslip website seems to be offline so that's why I'm asking here. When I click on the OblivionModManager.exe file in my Oblivion directory I get the folllowing error:

An unhandled exception occurred.
Extra information should have been saved to 'obmm_crashdump.txt' in oblivion's base directory.

Error message: Access to the path is denied.

The crashdump file says:

Sunday, April 18, 2010 - 05:37:05
1.1.12 (Safe mode)
OS version: Microsoft Windows NT 6.1.7600.0

Type: System.ArgumentException
Error message: Access to the path is denied.
Stack trace: at System.IO.FileSystemInfo.set_Attributes(FileAttributes value)
at OblivionModManager.Program.Init()
at OblivionModManager.Program.Main(String[] args)

Any help would be appreciated.

Timeslip's new site is http://timeslip.users.sourceforge.net/. What operating system are you on? You might need to install OBMM as an administrator if your on Vista or 7.

I'm on 7. I clicked the "Run this program as an administrator" box and it looks like it's working now. Thanks!
